An Open Letter from Dr. Stephen Hopwood
My name is Dr. Stephen Hopwood. I am the clinical Director of the Arcturus Clinic and practice both Western and Chinese medicine. I have been treating patients, using Chinese Herbs, Vitamins & Supplements, safely and effectively, for the past twenty years 

I would like to draw your attention to the following facts which I consider to be of the utmost importance and concern.  I hope you will find the time to consider the information and invite your colleagues to do the same.
 
This year Gordon Brown will sign our Nation over to the United States of Europe.  Not only will we lose our National Sovereignty but we will also lose our current Veto on GM food, food irradiation and health product legislation. We will be subjected to restrictive licensing of herbs, vitamins and minerals. This will severely affect the freedom of choice and availability of our Natural Health products.
 
This is a complex subject and a good friend of mine, Ian R. Crane has thoroughly researched this issue.  I am pleased to say he will be presenting his research at a series of events over the next few weeks: -
 
1)  Kingsbridge 6th Form College (Common Room)  - Tues  12th Feb. 7.30pm
2)  Totnes Methodist Church, High Street, Totnes     - Weds 13th Feb. 7.30pm
3). Axminster Awareness Centre, Chard Street,        – Fri     15th Feb – 7.30pm

5). National Codex Conference - ‘ The Alternative View ‘ - Totnes Civic Hall; April 25th /26th /27th
    
Please note that Phillip Day & Dr. Robert Verkerk (Chief Executive – Alliance for Natural Health) will also be speaking at The Alternative View, being organised by Breathing Space Magazine
 
I would most whole heartedly like to invite you and your colleagues to attend these meetings. I think it is imperative that we thoroughly educate ourselves, have a chance to discuss these issues fully and make some vital decisions concerning our future.
 
The time to speak up and out is now - I would be most grateful if you would join me at one or more of these important events.
